<lb n="0588c06" ed="T"/>無衣裸形、男根不淨汚身手；捉刀血汚，與惡

<lb n="0592b15" ed="T"/>於大衆中乃言我愚癡涕唾之身。」卽生不
<lb n="0592b16" ed="T"/>忍心。此是提婆達於此生中，最初於世尊
<lb n="0592b17" ed="T"/>所生不忍<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0592013" n="0592013"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0592013" n="0592013"/><anchor xml:id="beg0592013" n="0592013"/>心<anchor xml:id="end0592013"/>。</p><p xml:id="pT22p0592b1706" cb:place="inline">時提婆達往阿闍世所語言：
<lb n="0592b18" ed="T"/>「王以正法治者得長壽，汝父死後乃得作
<lb n="0592b19" ed="T"/>王，年<anchor xml:id="beg_6b" type="star"/>已<anchor xml:id="end_6b"/>老耄不得久在五欲中而自娛樂。
<lb n="0592b20" ed="T"/>汝可殺父、我當殺佛，於<name role="" type="person">摩竭國</name>界有新
<lb n="0592b21" ed="T"/>王、新佛，治國敎化不亦樂耶？」王子報言：「可
<lb n="0592b22" ed="T"/>爾。」卽問提婆達：「汝須何等？」答言：「我須人
<lb n="0592b23" ed="T"/>衆。」卽便與人。時提婆達卽遣二人往欲害
<lb n="0592b24" ed="T"/>佛，敎言：「汝往殺佛已，更從餘道來。」遣二人
<lb n="0592b25" ed="T"/>去後，復更遣四人，語言：「汝逆彼二人，若得
<lb n="0592b26" ed="T"/>便殺，更從餘道來。」後復更遣八人，語言：「汝
<lb n="0592b27" ed="T"/>逆彼四人，若於<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0592014" n="0592014"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0592014" n="0592014"/><anchor xml:id="beg0592014" n="0592014"/>道<anchor xml:id="end0592014"/>路得便殺之，更從餘

<lb n="0592b29" ed="T"/>根本斷滅，不可分別、不知誰害世尊。世尊

<lb n="0592c01" ed="T"/>爾時在猪坎窟中坐，從此窟出於山巖下
<lb n="0592c02" ed="T"/>經行。佛自念言：「昔我所作緣對，期在今日。」時
<lb n="0592c03" ed="T"/>二人受提婆達敎，卽著鎧執持刀<anchor xml:id="beg_6c" type="star"/>杖<anchor xml:id="end_6c"/>往趣
<lb n="0592c04" ed="T"/>世尊，<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0592015" n="0592015"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0592015" n="0592015"/><anchor xml:id="beg0592015" n="0592015"/>彼<anchor xml:id="end0592015"/>二人心念：「我欲害佛。」適生此念，卽
<lb n="0592c05" ed="T"/>時不能得前，念言：「世尊有大神德、威力無
<lb n="0592c06" ed="T"/>量，正使弟子亦有神力，我等豈能得害世
<lb n="0592c07" ed="T"/>尊？」適生此念卽便得往，遙見世尊顏貌端
<lb n="0592c08" ed="T"/>正，諸根寂定得上調伏第一寂滅，諸根堅固
<lb n="0592c09" ed="T"/>如<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0592016" n="0592016"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0592016" n="0592016"/><anchor xml:id="beg0592016" n="0592016"/>調<anchor xml:id="end0592016"/>龍象，意不錯亂，猶水澄淸，內外淸徹。
<lb n="0592c10" ed="T"/>見已發歡喜心，卽捨刀<anchor xml:id="beg_6d" type="star"/>杖<anchor xml:id="end_6d"/>置在一處，前詣
<lb n="0592c11" ed="T"/>世尊所，頭面作禮在一面坐。世尊漸漸爲
<lb n="0592c12" ed="T"/>二人說微妙法，使發歡喜勸令修善，說
<lb n="0592c13" ed="T"/>施、說戒、說生天福，呵欲不淨、讚歎出離。二
<lb n="0592c14" ed="T"/>人卽於座上諸塵垢盡，得法眼淨，見法得
<lb n="0592c15" ed="T"/>法，白佛言：「自今已<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0592017" n="0592017"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0592017" n="0592017"/><anchor xml:id="beg0592017" n="0592017"/>去<anchor xml:id="end0592017"/>受三自歸，歸依佛、
<lb n="0592c16" ed="T"/>歸依法、歸依僧，作優婆塞。自今已去，盡形
<lb n="0592c17" ed="T"/>壽不殺生乃至不飮酒。」時世尊吿二人言：
<lb n="0592c18" ed="T"/>「汝欲還者乃更從彼道去，莫從此道。」卽從
<lb n="0592c19" ed="T"/>坐起，頭面禮佛遶三匝而去。到提婆達所
<lb n="0592c20" ed="T"/>語言：「世尊有大神德威力，無量弟子亦有神
<lb n="0592c21" ed="T"/>力，我等豈能害世尊耶？」時提婆達報言：
<lb n="0592c22" ed="T"/>「汝出去！滅去！何用汝爲？云何二人不能殺
<lb n="0592c23" ed="T"/>一人？」提婆達乘此恚意，自往<name role="" type="person">耆闍崛山</name>，手
<lb n="0592c24" ed="T"/>執大石遙擲世尊。時有天卽接石置山頂

<lb n="0593a01" ed="T"/>多比丘聞提婆達遣人害佛，各各皆執杖
<lb n="0593a02" ed="T"/>石遶窟高聲大喚。佛從窟出，語諸比丘：「汝
<lb n="0593a03" ed="T"/>等何爲執此杖石遶窟大喚？如捕魚者得
<lb n="0593a04" ed="T"/>魚喚聲。」諸比丘白佛言：「向聞提婆達欲來
<lb n="0593a05" ed="T"/>害佛，是故我等手執杖石來至窟所，恐怨
<lb n="0593a06" ed="T"/>家來害世尊。」佛吿比丘：「汝等各還所止專
<lb n="0593a07" ed="T"/>意修道，諸佛常法無所<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0593001" n="0593001"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0593001" n="0593001"/><anchor xml:id="beg0593001" n="0593001"/>覆<anchor xml:id="end0593001"/>護。何以故？<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0593002" n="0593002"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0593002" n="0593002"/><anchor xml:id="beg0593002" n="0593002"/>已<anchor xml:id="end0593002"/>
<lb n="0593a08" ed="T"/>勝諸怨故。汝等比丘，當知轉輪聖王若爲

<lb n="0593a13" ed="T"/>師戒不淸淨，自稱我戒淸淨，我若向諸白

<lb n="0593a16" ed="T"/>法，弟子爲戒生護，師求弟子護。二者，諸比
<lb n="0593a17" ed="T"/>丘！或有命不淸淨，自稱<anchor xml:id="beg_6e" type="star"/>言<anchor xml:id="end_6e"/>：『我命淸淨。』如上
<lb n="0593a18" ed="T"/>說。三者，諸比丘！或有見慧不淸淨，而自稱：
<lb n="0593a19" ed="T"/>『我見慧淸淨。』如上說。四者，或有言說不淸
<lb n="0593a20" ed="T"/>淨，自稱言：『我言說淸淨。』如上說。五者，或有
<lb n="0593a21" ed="T"/>在法律外，而自稱言：『我在法律內淸淨。』如
<lb n="0593a22" ed="T"/>上說。如是諸比丘！世有是五種以爲尊法。
<lb n="0593a23" ed="T"/>諸比丘！我今持戒淸淨，亦自稱言：『我持戒淸
<lb n="0593a24" ed="T"/>淨。』不令弟子護我，我亦不求弟子護。如是
<lb n="0593a25" ed="T"/>諸比丘！我命淸淨，自稱言：『我命淸淨。』如上
<lb n="0593a26" ed="T"/>說。如是諸比丘！我見慧淸淨，自稱言：『我見慧
<lb n="0593a27" ed="T"/>淸淨。』如上說。諸比丘！我言說淸淨，自稱言：
<lb n="0593a28" ed="T"/>『我言說淸淨。』如上說。諸比丘！我在法律內，

<lb n="0593b03" ed="T"/>婆達所作。應作白二羯磨，當差堪能羯磨
<lb n="0593b04" ed="T"/>人如上，作如是白：『大德僧聽！若僧時到僧
<lb n="0593b05" ed="T"/>忍聽，今差舍利弗比丘向諸白衣大衆說，
<lb n="0593b06" ed="T"/>提婆達所爲事者非佛法僧<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0593008" n="0593008"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0593008" n="0593008"/><anchor xml:id="beg0593008" n="0593008"/>事<anchor xml:id="end0593008"/>，當知是提婆
<lb n="0593b07" ed="T"/>達所作。白如是。』『大德僧聽！僧今差舍利弗
<lb n="0593b08" ed="T"/>比丘向諸白衣大衆說，提婆達所作事非
<lb n="0593b09" ed="T"/>佛法僧<anchor xml:id="beg_6f" type="star"/>事<anchor xml:id="end_6f"/>，是提婆達所作。誰諸長老忍僧
<lb n="0593b10" ed="T"/>差舍利弗向諸白衣大衆說，提婆達所作
<lb n="0593b11" ed="T"/>非佛法僧者默然，誰不忍者說。』『僧已忍差
<lb n="0593b12" ed="T"/>舍利弗向諸白衣大衆說提婆達所作事，
<lb n="0593b13" ed="T"/>非佛法僧竟。僧忍，默然故，<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0593009" n="0593009"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0593009" n="0593009"/><anchor xml:id="beg0593009" n="0593009"/>是事<anchor xml:id="end0593009"/>如是持。』」</p><p xml:id="pT22p0593b1316" cb:place="inline">時
<lb n="0593b14" ed="T"/>舍利弗聞此語已心疑，卽往至世尊所，頭
<lb n="0593b15" ed="T"/>面禮足在一面坐，白佛言：「世尊！我當云何
<lb n="0593b16" ed="T"/>在白衣衆中說其惡？何以故？我本向諸白
<lb n="0593b17" ed="T"/>衣讚歎其善言，大姓出家、聰明、有大神力、
<lb n="0593b18" ed="T"/>顏貌端正。」佛吿舍利弗：「汝先讚歎提婆達聰
<lb n="0593b19" ed="T"/>明、有大神力、大姓出家，實爾以不？」答言：「大
<lb n="0593b20" ed="T"/>德！實爾。」「是故舍利弗！汝今應往至白衣大
<lb n="0593b21" ed="T"/>衆中語言：『提婆達先時如是，今日如是。當
<lb n="0593b22" ed="T"/>知提婆達所作非佛法僧，是提婆達所作。』」爾
<lb n="0593b23" ed="T"/>時舍利弗承佛敎已，往白衣大衆中，語言：
<lb n="0593b24" ed="T"/>「提婆達先時如是，今日如是。<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0593010" n="0593010"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0593010" n="0593010"/><anchor xml:id="beg0593010" n="0593010"/>當知<anchor xml:id="end0593010"/>提婆達
<lb n="0593b25" ed="T"/>所作者非佛法僧，是提婆達所作。」時大衆中
<lb n="0593b26" ed="T"/>忍可提婆達者卽言：「沙門釋子以供養故
<lb n="0593b27" ed="T"/>生嫉妬心，不喜提婆達得供養故，便於大
<lb n="0593b28" ed="T"/>衆中說言：『提婆達所作非佛法僧，是提婆達
<lb n="0593b29" ed="T"/>所作耳。』」中有信樂佛者便作此言：「提婆達
<pb n="0593c" ed="T" xml:id="T22.1428.0593c"/>
<lb n="0593c01" ed="T"/>或能已作，或方當作。」</p><p xml:id="pT22p0593c0109" cb:place="inline">時阿闍世密自衣裹帶
<lb n="0593c02" ed="T"/>刀，疾疾入宮欲害其父。時守門者發覺搜
<lb n="0593c03" ed="T"/>求身上得刀，問言：「執此刀欲作何等？」報
<lb n="0593c04" ed="T"/>言：「我欲入宮害王。」守門者問言：「誰敎汝乃
<lb n="0593c05" ed="T"/>生此心耶？」答言：「提婆達敎我。」時守門者卽
<lb n="0593c06" ed="T"/>將詣諸大臣所語言：「阿闍世欲害王。」<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0593011" n="0593011"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0593011" n="0593011"/><anchor xml:id="beg0593011" n="0593011"/>時<anchor xml:id="end0593011"/>諸

<lb n="0593c08" ed="T"/>有臣言：「沙門釋子皆作此事，盡應當殺。」或
<lb n="0593c09" ed="T"/>有臣言：「諸沙門釋子不盡爲惡，不應盡殺，
<lb n="0593c10" ed="T"/>唯是王子提婆達所作，今當殺之。」或有臣言：
<lb n="0593c11" ed="T"/>「此沙門釋子不盡爲惡，但提婆達、阿闍世所
<lb n="0593c12" ed="T"/>作雖應死，不應殺。何以故？王是法王，聞必

<lb n="0593c16" ed="T"/>應殺之。」王聞此言心甚不悅。中有臣言：
<lb n="0593c17" ed="T"/>「沙門釋子不盡爲惡，不應盡殺。但提婆達、
<lb n="0593c18" ed="T"/>阿闍世所作，王應殺之。」王聞此言心亦不
